Footer Options
Step-1:
Log in to your WordPress Dashboard, and install the required plugin kirki Customizer Framework. After plugin installation, go to your WordPress Site.
Step-2:
Click on the “Customize” button at the top of the page.
Step-3:
Navigate to Footer>Footer Options.
Step-4:
In the Footer Container Layout section, you can choose between two layout options: Full Width, where the footer spans the entire width of the page, and Boxed, where it remains within a fixed-width box. The selection will update in the preview window, and you can click Publish to apply the changes.
Next, you can add social media links by scrolling down to the Social Media Links section. Here, you will find input fields for Facebook URL, Twitter URL, YouTube URL, and WhatsApp URL. Enter the full URL for each platform, and if a field is left blank, the corresponding icon will not appear in the footer. Once you have entered the URLs, click Publish to save your changes.
If you encounter issues, such as the footer layout not changing, clear your browser cache and ensure that no conflicting custom CSS overrides the layout. If social media icons do not appear, double-check that the URLs are entered correctly and confirm that your theme supports displaying social media icons in the footer.
Step-5:
The Design section provides options to adjust the footer’s visual appearance, including colors, padding, and typography. You can customize the Footer Background Color to match your theme’s branding and modify the Footer Social Media Icons Color to ensure visibility and consistency. Additionally, you can adjust the Footer Padding by specifying values for the top, right, bottom, and left margins to control the spacing around the footer elements. The typography settings allow changes to the Footer Widget Title Typography and Footer Widget Links Typography, where you can modify the font family, font variant, font size, text transform, text decoration, line height, and letter spacing. These changes help enhance readability and design consistency. After making adjustments, use the live preview feature to check the modifications before clicking Publish to save your changes.
